EASY CURD RICE

Curd Rice with ullichamanthi


INGREDIENTS

White Rice - 1 glass

Ginger - Medim sized

Red chilly - 2

Green Chilly - 3

Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp

Urud dal - 2 tbsp

Asafoetida - a pinch 

Curry leaves

Salt

Curd

Oil

METHOD 

Soft cook the rice. Place it aside for cooling.

Heat oil in a pan.Add Mustard seeds,when it  splutter add urud dal  and fry until light golden colour.

Add red chilly, green chilly, finely chopped ginger, curry leaves, asafoetida and saute for few minutes.

Add this tempering to the cooked rice.

Pour 4 or 5 tbsp curd to this ,mix well and serve cold with ullichamanthi.
