Canned Tuna Recipe(Tuna Coconut stir fry/ Tuna thoran)
INGREDIENTS
Canned tuna - 120 gm
Onion -1 Medium sized
Garlic - 4 cloves
Ginger - 1 small sized
Green chilly - 3 nos
Curry leaves - 2 strands
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Chilly powder - 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
METHOD
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds.
Add the chopped onion, ginger, garlic,green chilly ,curry leaves and saute it for 5 minutes.
To this add chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala and saute it well.
Squeeze out the oil from the canned tuna and mix this to the masala prepared.Cook it for few minutes.
Add grated coconut and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes.
