EGG BIRIYANI





INGREDIENTS

Basmati - 1 1/4 cup

Ghee - 2 tbsp

Clove - 2 nos

Saumph - 1 stick

Star Anise - 1

Cardamom -2 

Onion - 2 Medium sized

Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp

Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Coriander powder - 2 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp

Garam Masala - 1 1/4 tsp

Tomato - 1

Salt

Oil

Egg - 2


PREPARATION

Cook rice first. In a pan heat 2 tbsp ghee,to this add cloves, saumph, star anise, cardamom.Then add the washed rice and roast it for 3 to 4 minutes.then add 2 n 1/4 glass water.When the water boils.Cook it closed for 5 minutes.After 5 minutes turn off the stove and keep t closed for another 10 minutes.

In a pan heat oil, add the sliced onion and saute  till the onion turns light brown colour. Then add ginger garlic paste and saute for another few minutes.

Add chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and  saute for 5  minutes at very low flame.

Add chopped tomato and cook it closed.

Boil the eggs , add the boiled eggs to this masala and cook it closed for few seconds.

Add the cooked rice to this egg masala and combine well.
