SPICY GHEE CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS
Chicken - 1 kg
Ghee - 4 tbsp
Onion - 2 large onions (finely chopped)
Ginger - 1 piece (finely chopped)
Garlic - 10 cloves ( finely chopped)
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Tomato - 2
Green chilli - 5 nos
Chillie powder - 2 n 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 2 tsp
Black pepper -1/2 or 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - tsp
Curry leaves
Curd - not so sour
METHOD
Heat ghee in a pan and fry chopped onions, ginger, garlic.
Add green chillie, tomato.curry leaves, salt and cook it closed in a low flame.
Then add turmeric powder, chillie powder, coriander powder.Mix well .
Add chicken and black pepper to this and mix well and cook it closed in low flame. Dont add water.
When half cooked , add cumin and fennel powder and cook it again.
Add curd and cook it for another 10 minutes.If you want more gravy add more curd,
Serve it with chappathi, rice, appam etc
