TOMATO RASAM/ THAKKALI RASAM


INGREDIENTS

Shallots- 4 nos

Garlic - 4 cloves

Red Chillies- 2 nos

Ginger - 1 small piece

Black pepper powdered - 1/2 tsp

Fenugreek - a pinch

Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp

Tomato - 1

Mustard seeds

Curry leaves


METHOD

Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and let it splutter.

Add chopped shallots, garlic,ginger, red chillies, fenugreek seeds, cumin, curry leaves, black pepper powder, salt and saute for few minutes.

Add water.

Add chopped tomato and bring to boil.
