SPICY FISH CURRY




INGREDIENTS

Fish - 1/2 Kilos

Chillie powder - 5 tsp

Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp

Coriander powder - 1 tsp

Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp

Shallots - 8 nos

Curry leaves

Mustard seeds

Fenugreek

Tamarind/ Kudam puli- 2

Oil

Salt

METHOD

Heat the oil in a earthen ware and splutter mustard seeds and fenugreek.

Soak tamarind in half cup of water

Add chopped shallots, curry leaves and saute for a few minutes.

Add ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder and again saute for a few minutes.

Then add coriander powder, chillie powder,salt and water.Let it boil.

On boiling add the soaked tamarind along with water , fish pieces and cook it for 15 -25 minutes.
