POTATO CURRY (ALOO CURRY) FOR CHAPPATHI, BREAD, KUBUSE



INGREDIENTS

Boiled Mashed Potatoes  - 2 (Large Sized)

Onion finely chopped - 1

Ginger finely chopped - 1 small piece

Garlic - 4 cloves

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp

Mustard Seeds- 1/2 tsp

Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp

Oil

Salt

Curry leaves

Green Chillies - 4

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter.

Then add cumin seeds and saute for few seconds.

Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic , green chillies, curry leaves and saute it for 3 or 4 minutes .

Add turmeric powder salt and 2 glasses of water and let it boil.

Then add mashed potatoes to this and let it boil till the gravy becomes thick.

Serve it with appam, chappathi, bread, kubuse etc.
