Kerala Unniyappam

Jaggery - 1
Banana - 1
soda powder- a pinch
Fried Coconut bites
ghee - 1 spoon
Method
Grind the raw rice without adding water
Add 1 cup water to the jaggery and melt it.Strain it and let it cool.
Add the melted jaggery,banana and soda powder to the grinded rice and grind it again till you get a idili batter consistency .
Keep this batter aside for 4 to 5 hours.
Add the coconut bites roasted in ghee.
Heat the oil in the unniyappachatti and pour the batter.Fry till it turns golden dark brown colour.
